Saber Levels
As far as the saber market goes, we've always felt it's important for the aftermarket companies to bridge the gap left by the mainstream industry mass producers. If we utilize each others talents to form a collective whole, we can produce a truely amazing end product. And that's exactly what you'll see here, a broad range of possibiliteis for every budget... all of which appeal to the saber enthusiast on each of us.
From licensed replicas (stock or modified) to complete customs... with removable blades and different sounds, we've been testing and reporting on different sabers and saber companies since we started this site. If approved, those companies to our "Recommended List" of worthy and honest Saber Smiths and Retailers. Entry Level
Master Replicas ( MR's ) cover the broad range of the spectrum. They are Mass produced Hilts with 1 type of Jedi or 1 type of Sith movie sounds. They contain a strip of light-emitting diodes ( LED ) in the blade.
Additional Details:
• No assembly/installation required.
• Fixed Blade (non removable)
• Light/mock Dueling and choreography ( damage can occur when struck)

Intermediate Level
The Luxeon and EL* models have taken it to the next level with "dueling friendly" and removable blades. Custom or Mass produced hilts are available which utilize custom created drivers or stock electronics for sounds. Various supporting electronics ( such as vibrating motors ) are also available.
Some can produce visual effects and can be combined with sound from other sabers for multiple types of custom configurations.
Some manufacturers have also created LED strip blades that are more advanced than the initiate level led strip types.

Advanced Level
These Sabers expand on capabilities of the intermediate platforms and up the ant'e not only in price but in features by creating an entirely custom developed system with various visual effects & integrated Sound. Some systems are capable of containing multiple sounds and or creating your own custom sounds for multiple types
of custom configurations combined with visual effects.
Other supporting and enhancing electronics ( such as vibrating motors ) are also available.
Configuration of Hilt and blade, be it removable or fixed, is determined by user or
recommended installer during construction & assembly.

Elite Level
Elite Sabers can be both performance and high end display oriented. They feature internal display components that can be illuminated and are composed of ( or contain ) either genuine or synthetic Crystal/Chamber Cores. These types of features were inspired by Visual Dictionary styling.
Elite sabers are
typically composed of Original Vintage Prop components or entirely custom developed hilts with sound and LED driver systems that feature multiple and/or configurable visual effects & integrated Sound.
Some systems are complimented by being able to choose from multiple Jedi or Sith sounds.
